Moss Stitch Mobius

Time to start using up left-over yarn! I have three partial balls of Wool-Ease Thick and Quick and I think I might like to try something new. Hmmm...how about an infinity scarf using the moss stitch.

The moss stitch is supposed to start with a chain of an uneven number...I did 51. I want a nice wooly snuggle around my neck, so not too long. I joined with a slip stitch (careful not to twist). The moss stitch is really easy: single crochet, chain 1 & skip 1 stitch. On the next round I changed color. Just continue the pattern, but sc into the ch1 space.

Here's how it turned out. Didn't take very long with nice thick wool.

Here's a close-up. The thing I like about doing a mobius, is the chain is in the middle. So you just keep going round n' round...infinity...or until you run out of yarn!

Looks nice with my plum colored coat.
