This is my first granny square project and I have learned something along the way. See the bumpy spot on the edge? That's where I finished with a slip stitch. I thought that's what you are supposed to do.
But then I learned that there is a better way to finish so the edge stays nice and smooth. See?
So instead of doing a slip stitch, just pull the yarn through your last stitch and thread a tapestry needle.
Go into the stitch that you would have slip stitched into.
Then back into the previous loop.
See, nice and smooth!
Weave in the end and voila. Much better, Anne.
Thank-you to the Crochet Cabana, your YouTube video for "The Invisible Finish Off" was hugely helpful!
